The Congressional App Challenge Interns

The Congressional App Challenge has benefited from a roster of stellar interns from across the country.

  • Muhammad Tayyab joins Congressional App Challenge from Arlington, Texas. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Texas Arlington with a focus on Database Systems and Artificial Intelligence. He is responsible for system automation and managing databases at the Congressional App Challenge.

Sophie Gil
  • Sophie Gil joins the Congressional App Challenge from Santa Barbara, California. She is enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Environmental Economics and Policy program at the University of California, Berkeley. She has taken on Social Media Marketing and Communications projects at the Congressional App Challenge.

  • Jason Presher joins the 2017 Congressional App Challenge  team from Arlington, Texas. Arlington is situated between the two major cities of Dallas and Ft. Worth. He is enrolled in an online Bachelors of Science in Web Design and Development at Brigham Young University Idaho. He is honored to be part of the this team to help young people learn to code applications.

  • Yonus Entezar is a Fall 2017 intern at the Internet Education Foundation. Specifically, he works within the organization’s Congressional App Challenge project.  Yonus  has a diverse background in administration nationally and overseas and masters degree in research and communication  from Southern Illinois University.

  • Ryan Saraie is a Summer 2017 intern at the Internet Education Foundation. Specifically, he works within the organization’s Congressional App Challenge project. He is a rising junior studying economics at the University of California, Berkeley. When he isn’t working, you can find him playing guitar, preparing delicious dishes, and spending time with friends.
