The Congressional App Challenge has benefited from a roster of stellar interns from across the country.

  • Sophie Gil joins the Congressional App Challenge from Santa Barbara, California. She is enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Environmental Economics and Policy program at the University of California, Berkeley. She has taken on Social Media Marketing and Communications projects at the Congressional App Challenge.

  • Natalie Silver joins the 2018 Congressional App Challenge from Davis, California. She is enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies at the University of California, Berkeley. She currently works as an editor for The B-Side, UC Berkeley’s premier music magazine, and will champion Social Media Marketing and Communications projects at the Congressional App Challenge.

  • Julia Landreth joins the Congressional App Challenge from Alameda, California. She is currently studying Political Science and Public Policy at the University of California, Berkeley. She is currently working on Social Media Marketing and Communications projects at the Congressional App Challenge.

  • Priya Miller joins the 2018 Congressional App Challenge from McLean, Virginia. She is currently studying Political Science with a minor in Earth Systems at Stanford University. She works as a tour guide at Stanford, and is currently working on Data Analysis and Congressional Affairs projects at the Congressional App Challenge. 

  • Matt Munsil joins the Internet Education Foundation from Phoenix, Arizona. Matt currently attends Columbia University in NY where he is pursuing his BA in History. He has worked as a Policy Fellow for the Lincoln Network and as a Research Intern for Strategic and Legal Projects at Sweetbridge, Inc. He is currently working as the Google Policy Fellow for the Internet Educations Foundation.

  • Hyerin Park has joined the Congressional App Challenge from Washington D.C. since 2017 winter. She worked as a coordinator for international students in two countries before landing in Washington, D.C. for an exchange program. She graduated from the Catholic university of Korea with a degree in international studies/politics and Chinese language. She is interested in international development policy and database management. She has taken on Communications and Outreach projects at the Congressional App Challenge.

  • Zheng Lyu joins the 2018 Congressional App Challenge team from Washington, D.C. She is enrolled in the Master of Science in Statistics program at the George Washington University. She enjoys learning more statistical methods to deal with data and gaining more experience to show the data clearly in a picture.
