WE NEED YOUR HELP.
We need teachers, computer science experts, and CAC alumni to help us inspire the next generation of coders.
Our volunteer judges are asked to review the entries submitted into the Congressional App Challenge. Judging may be done in person or remotely, depending on the Congressional office.
June – November 1: Congressional App Challenge Submission Period
October 20 (or sooner): Offices will send judges an excel sheet with student submissions
November 2-30: Judging Period
November 26: Deadline to return evaluations to the Congressional office
You will be asked to
watch Demonstration Videos submitted by the students, explaining their app. These videos should be no longer than 3 minutes each.
review short answer questions (i.e. What technical challenge did you face and how did you solve it?)
judge the entries based on a rubric (example) that will be provided to you.
